Aru’s work is a plethora of vibrant colour fused together in symbolic and humanistic forms...an element of surprise by purposely adopting irregular and bold shades whilst maintaining a sense of harmony between natural colours…using brushes, palate knifes and a multiple array of tools.
She grew up in the parallel worlds of India and the Middle East and has lived in three European countries since then. This multicultural life with strong Indian roots is what inspires her painting style that is a paradox of trying to find harmony in the contrast of colours.
Aru considers herself a learning artist. She started sketching already in her childhood. In the last 10 years she has taken various art courses in sketching, pastels, oils and painting techniques. She obtained a Diploma from the Whitecroft Art Studio in Maidenhead, England and practices and continues to improve her technique there.
